While the Swoosh patiently awaits its coveted Air Max Day, the Beaverton brand's reimagined air-inspired counterparts boasting a sustainable mindset have received the green light for a number of builds for the new year, like this Nike Air Max Terrascape 97 in greyscale. -silhouette inspired in a monochromatic ensemble, various shades of gray envelop the upper's fused mesh and rubberized overlays while further coordinating through the tongue construction, laces and pull tabs. Brightening the tonal rendition above, the titular “Volt” swatches bring ankle Swooshes while the midfoot mesh window pocket receives a vibrant finished accent. Denoting its midsole component to a ground rubber outfit, bright “Volt” accents return to coat the translucent Air Max cushioning system underfoot while White and White pair on the tread in conclusion.
